Often with novellas, authors fail to inject the same level of imagination and detail as is evident in the main novels, simply because they aren’t necessarily deemed ‘vital’ to the plot and can, therefore, be given less attention. ![]() ![]() I have to say that I was really impressed with this collection Kendare Blake absolutely delivered with her amazing writing, yet again! A fair warning goes out here that these novellas do contain spoilers for the ending of book one, Three Dark Crowns, so it’s perhaps best to read them afterwards! ![]() The Three Dark Crowns series is one of my favourite fantasy series of all time, so I was really looking forward to picking this up. From the outset, I had high expectations for this novella collection. ![]()
